Pearls! Lovely pearls. A girl and her pearls. I love these pearl earrings. I wanted some earrings that would look classy in any dress. I am always in my sundresses and got tired of wearing my 26 years old gold hoops. I get many complements from my coworkers and friends and even strangers on my pearls and have been a great conversation piece among them. I have worn them for a few days and so far, no change of color or irritation to my earlobes. I really love how they look in my ears and will be looking for a necklace to go along with them that is of the same color. It is a light pinkish color, rose gold as it is called, but also go nicely with my white pearl necklace. But I'm OCD so stuff need to match!

I was looking for a necklace that wouldn't turn my neck colors to put my pendant on and found that it is a great addition to my jewelry case. It isn't huge or super long, which is great for my pendant, as it doesn't overpower it. I have worn it for a few days, taking it off at the end of the day and it has not changed colors. It has not caused me any irritation and I have even yanked it accidentally and it didn't pop. It shines beautifully in sunlight and have gotten many compliments. Such a lovely necklace!!

As we get older, our knees tend to decide to say to themselves, "eh...I've held on long enough...time to relax" and they start going out. First the pain starts, then weakness, then standing up/walking starts to be an issue...and then we start gaining weight, blah! This knee brace has helped me transition from young to old, per se, since my right knee started giving me pain when driving for long periods of time. It is easy to put on, slides right up the calf and stays in place. It applies a bit of pressure to the muscle to keep it from retracting as much as usual, in turn providing relief when walking/standing/bending while sitting.

I drive for Uber/Lyft and the phone holder I was previously using has worn completely out to the point where I have to rig it just to get the phone into...too much work. This new and improved phone holder from Zeuste is a great upgrade and even helps my posture a bit. It doesn't sit flush against my window like my old one, which required me to get super close to it to use. The Zeuste allow it to extend out a great deal from the window and pivot like I never could before. It doesn't shake at all when I am driving, which is a great thing. My phone sits snug in the brackets and do not come sliding out. There are feet at the bottom of it that the phone rest on to keep it from sliding up and down, which is a great help when trying to navigate. The quality is great, hard plastic and a smooth surface. Obviously I can't take a photo of it with the phone inside but check out the photos below.

Where in the world were strollers like this when I was growing up? Man!! The most I had was an old umbrella stroller that I ended up flailing around because it was too light and my baby doll wouldn't sit still LOL! Whatever 80s & 90s! I purchased this doll stroller for my niece who just made her first birthday but it getting pretty tall. The quality of this doll stroller is great. Made with hard plastic and very easy to assemble. The way it comes in the box, it is folded and you just unfold and put the wheels on and the tray. Everything just snaps on and there is no need for any tools. I am not sure why it is called a boy doll stroller, as it can be used by any child that just wants to play with a stroller with their toys and dolls. Maybe it's the blue color? Nonetheless, she will have this stroller as well as another one that I got for her. I really hope she likes it and doesn't try to sit in it LOL! She isn't a small one year old so I'm sure she will try...for whatever reason. Kids!

I have been on the hunt for a bigger flat iron that can get as close to my scalp as possible. Imagine my shock when I came across this flat iron. The size of this flat iron is bigger than the average, which is somewhere around half to one full inch. This flat iron is 1.5 inches and covers more hair than any iron I've ever purchased on Amazon. It heats up to around 440 degrees. It comes with it's own carrying bag, two hair clips, a glove, and an instruction booklet. It is a very simple flat iron to use. I love the color, light purple that I purchased. It matches my new blow dryer perfectly. Ever since my 32nd birthday when I decided to learn on my own how to do my own nails with acrylic and whatnot, I have been obsessed with nail drills and the like. This nail manicure and pedicure set is just what I wanted and needed to do my own pedicure, mostly. While I already have a nail drill that I've been using, this one's bits are much bigger than my little bits (ha!) and I can dedicate this set to doing pedicures. 

Instead of letting my feet soak first, I take off the nail polish first and then scrub the bottom of my feet with the electric callus remover to get rid of all the dead skin that I can see dry. Then I soak my feet in some tea tree soak that I purchased and let it soak in hot water (not scorching hot but as hot as I can stand it...which is nearing scorching hot lol) for about 15-20 minutes. Then I use a cuticle pusher to push back my cuticles to get the dead skin from under and on top of my toes, rinse, and repeat until I see no more dead skin. I then use a foot scrub with beads and do that for about a minute on each foot then rinse. Next, I use a pumice stone and scrub under my feet for about 2 minutes each foot, rinse, and repeat. Yes, I realize my pedicures are hours long but dammit I like soft, clean feet. 

At this point, I start with this nail drill. I pat dry my feet and begin to use the sapphire callus sander bit on top of my toes to get rid of the ridges on top. I don't do this long but enough to smooth the surface. Once it is to my desired smoothness, I use the felt polishing cone to get that natural shine. I put on a base coat of polish and let that dry for about 5 minutes and then apply lotion to my feet and I am done. I haven't had a use for all the bits just yet but I am sure with time, I will. My experience

We are trying to conceive and have been trying to conceive for a while now. While I do have some issues that I need to get straightened out, I do monitor if and when I ovulate each month. The ovulation tests are pretty sensitive and accurate, as I do get the dark line when I have ovulated and a light line when I am nearing or at the end of ovulation as well as no line when I know I am nowhere near ovulation. The pregnancy tests are the same, as I tried one out on a friend who is pregnant and on myself and the line was dark on my pregnant friend. Great quality tests and best to buy in bulk if you are also trying to conceive, as OPK on the shelf cost a fortune in store. These work! Get them!

Purex® plus Clorox 2® Detergent

This is my review of the Purex plus Clorox 2 laundry detergent. I was lucky enough to be selected to review it and definitely needed it due to the leftover odor on clothes after it being washed. 

My towels have been having this stale smell on it even after washing in hot water. I prefer the smell of nothing on clothes due to me having sensitive skin. So when this arrived, I was hoping I would finally be able to get rid of that stale smell. 

I threw all my towels into the wash and put one load amount of the Purex plus Clorox 2 into the liquid detergent compartment and started the wash. It washed for one hour. After it was done, I smelled my towels and they smelled clean. No stale smell. No weird scent. Just...clean! Now, I can't use these towels because I can't use anything with a scent so I had to wash it again in my free & clear detergent. So I started it up for another hour and the scent was still there but it was very faint. I tossed my clothes into the dryer with a free & clear dryer sheet and when it was all said and done, clean smelling clothes! Soft, clean, no wrinkles, no faded colors. I am soooo happy Clorox 2 partnered with Purex, as it was a great experience for me to get fresh smelling towels after just living with the stale smell so long. Now I just want to lay across the bed on top of the towels lol. 

On to my next test: my fiances' clothes. Men clothes are so hard to get sweat out of!

My fiance' has overactive sweat glands and his clothes end up soaked with just regular everyday moving around. So his shirts tend to stain under the armpits. I have tried everything to get those stains out but to no avail. I thought why not try Purex plus Clorox 2. I spot treated his shirts at the armpits and rubbed it in and let it sit for 20 minutes before tossing in the wash. I washed his shirts in warm water for an hour. When they finished, the shadow was still there but the deep yellowing stain was gone. Big improvement! I never thought in a million years that stain would ever let up but thanks to Purex plus Clorox 2, I have saved some of his shirts and money!

Seventh Generation Pantiliners

Thanks Seventh Generation for the opportunity to try these pantiliners free. My honest opinion about these pantiliners may not get all the rave but I honestly hated using them. I tried...over and over. In different types of underwear, turned around to have the front part at each end. I could not get this panty liner to stay stuck to my panty. It moves when you moves and if you move too much, it gets stuck to your bottom. Not a good thing for people with sensitive skin such as myself. I broke out in contact dermatitis on my bottom because the tape/glue from the bottom of the panty liner got stuck to my skin. I have never had a panty liner move when I move as much as this one did. The material that is supposed to be on the skin is great and stays dry. But alas, it caused me some problems that ended up with me being in my OBGYN for meds. I recommend to those who don't move much but for active folks, nope!

Seventh Generation Tampons, Super

Thanks Seventh Generation for allowing me to try your organic tampons free. I was really excited when I received these tampons and felt like this is exactly what my body needed since it is so sensitive. The thought was great but the execution was not what I expected. I am all for organic and natural but when it came time to insert this tampon, I felt like I was waging war with my nether regions. It is so hard to push this cardboard applicator to get the actual cotton into my body. I know it is supposed to be natural products and biodegradable but the plastic applicator is really what wins most of us ladies over. It slides in and out, period (no pun intended). No mishaps. Hope there will be a redesign soon but as of right now, I don't recommend to non-seasoned tampon users.
